# Previewing Widgets with Draft Campaigns

Use draft campaigns to validate your widget design, translations, and layout without publishing.

### How to Preview

1. Create or open a campaign and keep it in Draft status
2. Open the Theme Editor (Online Store → Themes → Customize)
3. Navigate to a page where your Fundpop widget appears
4. Enable the "Preview draft campaign" option in the editor controls

<figure><img src="https://github.com/entwoska/Fundpop-docs/blob/main/.gitbook/assets/customizations-widget-preview-drafts--theme-editor-sidebar-preview-draft-campaign--v20250903.png" alt="Theme editor sidebar with a toggle for Preview draft campaign"><figcaption><p>Theme editor sidebar with a toggle for "Preview draft campaign"</p></figcaption></figure>

### What You Can Validate

* Layout and spacing in your theme
* Grid vs List display for Reward Tiers
* Translated texts rendering
* Progress bar and milestone animations

### Limitations

* Draft previews are visible only within the theme editor
* Storefront visitors do not see draft campaign widgets
* Some theme sections may cache content; reload the editor if changes are not visible

{% hint style="warning" %}
If your theme uses aggressive caching, the preview might take a moment to refresh. Reload the theme editor tab to pull updated data.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://fundpop-crowdfunding.gitbook.io/fundpop-crowdfunding-docs/customizations/widget-preview-drafts.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
